National Institute of Technology Durgapur (NIT Durgapur) recruits Junior Research Fellow Post. Candidates with M.Tech., B.Tech. experienced can apply.
General Instructions : Candidates should come with an with all original academic and experience certificates, signed curriculum vitae, reprints of publications (if any), MTech Thesis, passport size photograph, self-attested photocopies of all certificates, and a valid photo identity proof. TA/DA is not admissible for attending the interview or for joining the post. The above position is purely contractual. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim any regular appointments/absorption in this institute. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
Junior Research Fellow (M.Tech., B.Tech.)
No of post: 01
Scale of Pay: Rs. 25,000/- pm. + HRA as per DRDO guidelines. The selected candidate will be initially taken as JRF and will be paid a fellowship of Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA. The fellowship will be provided initially for a period of two years. Continuation of the fellowship is subject to satisfactory performance and review at the end of second year. Candidate recruited for JRF can take admission to pursue PhD under NIT Durgapur on clearance of all the institutional formalities.
Qualifications:M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering with B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum marks 6.5 CGPA or 60% in all level. Knowledge in the area of CAD/CAE, Multibody Dynamics, Robotics, mechatronics system integration and MATLAB is preferable.
