Central University of Kerala, CUK, Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the following non-teaching positions :

i. Section Officer :
No of post : 02 posts (UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelors degree in any discipline. At least 4 years experience as Senior Assistant or in an equivalent grade in a State/Central Government institution/organization.
Scale of Pay : RS. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay RS. 4600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not more than 40 years.

ii. Senior Assistant :
No of post : 04 posts (UR-3, OBC-1),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelors degree in any discipline. At least 4 years experience as Assistant or in an equivalent grade in a State/Central Govt. institution / organization. Adequate knowledge in computer applications.
Scale of Pay : RS. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay RS. 4600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not more than 35 years.

iii. Assistant (UDC) :
No of post : 03 posts (UR-3),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelors degree in any discipline. At least 4 years experience as Junior Assistants (LDC) or in an equivalent grade in a State/Central Govt. institution/organization with adequate knowledge in computer applications and good speed in computer typing.
Desirable: Awareness of modern tools of communication.
Scale of Pay : RS. 5200 to 20200 Grade Pay RS. 2400/- per month.
Age Limit : Not more than 35 years.

iv. Junior Assistant (LDC) :
No of post : 04 posts (UR-3, OBC-1),
Essential Qualification & Experience : (a) Higher Secondary/Plus 2 Pass Certificate or equivalent (b) Adequate knowledge in computer applications with typing speed of at least 30 words (150 characters in computer) per minute.
Desirable : (a) Hindi typing skill (b) Capability and attitude to work in multi-task environment.
Scale of Pay : RS. 5200 to 20200 Grade Pay RS. 2400/- per month.
Age Limit : Not more than 28 years.

v. Private Secretary :
No of post : 02 posts (UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : (a) Bachelors degree in any discipline (b) Shorthand speed of at least 120 wpm (c) 4 years experience as Personal Assistant in a State/Central Government institution/organization (d) Good communication skills in English.
Scale of Pay : RS. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay RS. 4600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not more than 40 years.

vi. Personal Assistant :
No of post : 01 post (UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : (a) Bachelors degree in any discipline (b) Typing speed of at least 40 wpm (200 characters in computer) (c) Shorthand speed of at least 100 wpm (d) 4 years experience in the grade (e) Adequate knowledge in computer applications.
Scale of Pay : RS. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay RS. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Not more than 35 years.

vii. Junior Professional Assistant :
No of post : 01 post (UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : (a) Bachelors Degree in Library & Information Science (BLISc) (b) At least 4 years of experience as Junior Professional Assistant or equivalent grade or MLISc (Masters Degree in Library & Information Science) with 2 years experience in a College/ University/Research Library with adequate knowledge in Library automation.
Scale of Pay : RS. 5200 to 20200 Grade Pay RS. 2800/- per month.
Age Limit : Not more than 35 years.

viii. Technical Assistant (Lab) :
No of post : 02 posts (UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : (a) BSc or equivalent degree (b) At least 4 years experience as Laboratory Assistants or equivalent.
Scale of Pay : RS. 5200 to 20200 Grade Pay RS. 2800/- per month.
Age Limit : Not more than 35 years.

ix. Laboratory Assistant :
No of post : 02 posts (UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : (a) Higher Secondary/Plus 2 Pass Certificate in Science stream or equivalent (b) At least 3 years experience in a Laboratory of a College / University / Research Institution.
Desirable: Adequate knowledge in computer applications.
Scale of Pay : RS. 5200 to 20200 Grade Pay RS. 2000/- per month.
Age Limit : Not more than 28 years.
