Central University of Orissa, CUO, invites applications in prescribed form from Indian nationals for filling up the following positions at Landiguda, Koraput Campus. This supersedes all earlier Advertisements for various positions.
 
1. Section Officer Group B : 
No of Post : 02 posts (UR-2),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate in any discipline. Good working knowledge of computer applications. 5 years experience as Superintendent / Sr. Asst. in Central/ State Universities or similar other institutions.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4,200/- per month.

2. Assistant :
No of Post : 02 posts (UR-2, PWD-1),
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Bachelor’s Degree with at least 55% marks 3 years Experience as UDC / Office Assistant in State / Central / Universities. Good working knowledge of computer applications.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4,200/- per month.

3. Private Secretary to VC :
No of Post : 01 post (UR-1),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate in any discipline.  Stenography speed 100 wpm. A good knowledge of computers. Experience as Personnel Assistant, of not less than 5 years in State / Central / Universities/ Such other organization.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 Grade Pay Rs. 4,200/- per month.

4. Upper Division Clerk (LDC) :
No of Post : 04 posts (UR-3, PWD-1),
Essential Qualification & Experience : A graduate or its equivalent with at least 3 years experience as Jr. Office Assistant / Jr. Assistant in the Central/ State Universities/ such other organizations. Good working knowledge of computer applications.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 52000 to 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.

5. Technical Assistant for Computer Lab :
No of Post : 01 post (UR-1),
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Sc. passed with concerned subject / Diploma of 3 years in the relevant field. Good working knowledge of computer applications and maintenance of concerned lab.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 52000 to 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- per month.

6. Lab Attendant :
No of Post : 01 post (UR-1),
Essential Qualification & Experience : 10+2 or Senior Secondary with concerned subject SSC or equivalent with Science subjects.
Age Limit : Not more than 28 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 4440 to 7440 Grade Pay Rs. 1650/- per month.

7. Junior Professional Assistant for Library :
No of Post : 01 post (UR-1),
Essential Qualification & Experience : B. Lib Information Science.
Desirable: M.Lib. Information Science, AIS/ALIS PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA. Good working knowledge of computer applications.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 52000 to 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- per month.

8. Library Attendant :
No of Post : 01 post (UR-1),
Essential Qualification & Experience : 10+2 or its equivalent with certificate course in Library Science from a recognized Institute.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 52000 to 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.

9. Driver :
No of Post : 02 post (UR-2),
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Class-8 passed (ii) Valid Driving License for Light / Medium Vehicles (iii) Should have at least 5 years experience.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 52000 to 20200 Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.

Age Limit : Age limit for the posts carrying grade pay up to Rs.2800/- shall be as per Govt. of India Rules.
