National Institute of Oceanic Technology, NIOT, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, New Delhi wit the objective of promoting technology development in various mission mode activities related to Ocean Engineering and Ocean Resources exploitations, invites applications for the following Regular posts :
Ocean Engineering and Ocean Resources exploitations :
A. Scientist – C : 02 posts, Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600/-, Allowances as per the Central Government Rules. Maximum Age Limit : Should not more than 40 years. Qualification and Experience : Ph.D. in Sciences/First class M.Sc. with 2 years experience.
B. Scientist – B : 05 posts, Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-, Allowances as per the Central Government Rules. Maximum Age Limit : Should not more than 35 years. Qualification and Experience : First class B.E. / B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech. Fresher Required.
C. Technical Assistant : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200, Allowances as per the Central Government Rules. Maximum Age Limit : Should not more than 30 years. Qualification and Experience : I class Diploma in Engineering /I class Bachelor degree in Science. 5 yrs. Experience as Tech. Asst. in Govt. / Autonomous Bodies/PSU/ reputed Organizations.
D. Junior Assistant : 02 post, Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 Grade pay Rs.1900, Allowances as per the Central Government Rules. Maximum Age Limit : Should not more than 26 years. Qualification and Experience : Graduates with English Typewriting senior grade and English shorthand Inter grade. Knowledge of word processing and data entry essential. 3 yrs. experience as P.A./Sec./ Steno to a Sr. Executive in Govt./Semi Govt./ PSU/ Autonomous bodies/reputed organization.
