National Institute of Technology, NIT, Applications in the prescribed format are invited from Indian Nationals for recruitment to the Officer Cadre Posts in NIT Karnataka, Surathkal, post : Executive Engineer, Students Activity and Sports Officer, Assistant Registrar (Administration)

1. Executive Engineer :
No of post : 02 posts (Civil – 1, Electrical – 1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i. First class degree or equivalent grade inEngineering (Electrical / Civil/ Communication) from arecognized University / Institute. ii) 05 years’ experience in relevant field as Engineer / Asst. Engineer from CPWD / State PWD or similar organized services / semi-Govt./ PSU / Statutory or Autonomousorganization / Universities / reputed Institute ororganizations under Central / State Govt.
Desirable  : Knowledge of Computer-aided Design (CAD).

2. Students Activity and Sports Officer :
No of post : 01 post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : First Class Master’s Degree in Physical Education or Master’s Degree in Sports Science with at least 60% marks (orequivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record;

3. Assistant Registrar (Administration) :
No of post : 01 post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Masters’ degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University / Institute with excellent academic record.
