Indian Air Force, IAF, Applications are invited from Men and Women candidates for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 01/2015 for the Courses commencing January 2016. Bright young engineers to join in the Air Force for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent/ Short Service Commission (PSC/ SSC) in Technical and Ground Duty Branches for the following courses for Men and Women through AFCAT 01/2015 to be held on 22/02/2015. Working in the Indian Air Force makes you strong enough and teaches you not to substitute words for actions, not to seek the path of comfort, but to face the stress and spur of difficulty and challenge, to learn to stand up in the storm. It gives you a temper of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigour of the emotions, a predominance of courage and an appetite for adventure over the love of ease.

Age Limit : Between 20 to 24 years as on 01 January, 2016.
Scale of Pay : For Flying Branch Rs. 74,264/- per month. Technical Branch Rs. 65,514/- per month. Ground Duty Branches Rs. 63,014/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduates (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised University who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or BE / B Tech degree (Four year course) from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together. Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
