SAIL is in the process of modernizing and expanding its production units, raw material resources and other facilities to maintain its dominant position in the Indian steel market. IISCO STEEL PLANT, a unit of STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA LIMITED, invites online applications for the following non-executive posts for its integrated steel plant at Burnpur: post : Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee), Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee)

1. Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) :
No of post : 264 Posts
Age Limit : Minimum 18 and Maximum 28 years.
Scale of Pay : S-3 Rs. 9160-3%-13150/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Matriculation with 3 years full time Diploma in engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Metallurgy/ Chemical/ Ceramics/ Computer Science, and Instrumentation discipline from Govt. Recognized Institute.

2. Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) :
No of post : 286 Posts
Age Limit : Minimum 18 and Maximum 28 years.
Scale of Pay : S-1 Rs. 8630-3%-12080/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Matriculation and ITI (full time)in Electronic Mechanic / Electrician/ Fitter / Instrument Mechanic/ Machinist / Turner /Turbine Attendant trades from Govt. Recognised Institute.

Fees/Application Fee:
Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) of Rs. 250 and Rs. 150 for the posts Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) and Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) as application and processing fee for General/OBC candidates. SC/ST candidates to possess Pay in Slip of Rs. 50/- only as processing fee.
