Maharashtra Public Service Commission, MPSC, Applications are invited for Ophthalmic Surgeon, Maharashtra Medical & Health Services, Grade – ‘A’ for filling up following posts :
 
Ophthalmic Surgeon:
No of Post: 22 posts,
Scale of Pay: 10000-325-15200,
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as on 1st November, 2009. Relaxable as per rules.
Essential Qualification & Experience: Candidates must possess – MBBS degree or any other qualification specified in the first or second schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (Act 102 of 1956); Practical experience in ophthalmology in a hospital with at least 25 ophthalmic beds for not less than 3 years in the case of those holding post-graduate degree and for not less than 4 years in the case of those holding post-graduate diploma after acquiring the MBBS degree. Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years.

Fees: For Open category candidates – Rs.400/-, And Backward Class candidates – Rs.200/-, Application form with Prospectus is available in the designated Post Offices which the cost is Rs.100/-
