Visvesvaraya Technological University, VTU, Applications are invited in 5 (Five) sets in the prescribed format from the eligible Indian citizens for the following Teaching Posts in the Department of Post Graduate Studies located at Bangalore, Gulbarga and Mysore. The eligible Indian Nationals / Origins who are residing abroad may also apply. post : Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor.

1. Professor :
No of post : 03 Posts
Age Limit : SC / ST / Category – I up to 40 Years, Other Backward Classes up to 38 Years, General Merit up to 35 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus AGP of Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. with Minimum of 10 years teaching / research / industrial experience of which at least 05 years should be at the level of Associate Professor. OR Minimum of 13 years experience in teaching, Research, Industry.

2. Associate Professor :
No of post : 04 Posts
Age Limit : SC / ST / Category – I up to 40 Years, Other Backward Classes up to 38 Years, General Merit up to 35 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus AGP of Rs. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D. or equivalent, in appropriate discipline. Minimum of 05 years of experience in teaching / research / industry of which at least 02 years shall be post Ph.D. is desirable. In case of Architecture, Professional Practice of 05 years as certified by the Council of Architecture shall also be considered valid.

3. Assistant Professor :
No of post : 07 Posts
Age Limit : SC / ST / Category – I up to 40 Years, Other Backward Classes up to 38 Years, General Merit up to 35 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus AGP of Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D / equivalent, in appropriate discipline. Minimum of 05 years of experience in teaching / research / industry of which at least 02 years shall be post Ph.D. is desirable.
