Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, IISER, is a premier autonomous research Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. The Institute invites applications from Indian nationals possessing the prescribed qualification and experience for the following positions:
 
A. Assistant Registrar (Academic & Administration) : 01 Post, Pay Scale : Rs. 8000 to 13500, Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Com. with minimum 6 years experience in Finance and Accounts in an Autonomous Research Institute. Age Limit : Candidate should not more than 40 years.
B. Assistant Librarian : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.8000 to 13500, Essential Qualification & Experience :  Bachelor’s degree preferably in Science, with Post-graduate Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with 3-5 years experience in a modern, preferably automated library. Age Limit : Candidate should not more than 35 years.
C. Private Secretary : 01 Post, Pay Scale : Rs.6500 to 10500, Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s degree and Diploma/Office Management. Knowledge of English Shorthand and Typing speed of 120 and 50 w.p.m. respectively. Knowledge of Hindi typing is desirable.
D. Library Information Assistant : 01 Post, Pay Scale : Rs.5500 to 9000, Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree from a recognized University preferably in Science and B Bachelor’s degree in Library Science. Minimum 2 years experience in a Library/Computerization of a library in Autonomous Research Institution.  Age Limit : Candidate should not more than 32 years.
E. Accountant : 01 Post, Pay Scale : Rs.5000 to 8000, Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Com. / Five years’ experience in Accounts and Audit in University/ Autonomous Research Institution/ Educational institution/ Public Sector Undertaking or reputed private organizations, etc. Should have knowledge of handling day to day financial activities of the Institute. Age Limit : Candidate should not more than 35 years.
F. Office Assistant (Multi-skill) : 01 post, Scale of Pay: Rs. 4500 to 7000/-, Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelors degree/Two years’ experience in general administrative functions and/or purchase and stores functions etc in University/ Autonomous Research. Age Limit : Candidate should not more than 30 years.
