Qualification: (a) Professional Qualification in Finance & Accounts e.g. ACA, ICWA, CFA or  (b) MBA from a recognized University / Institute or (c) A Professional Degree in Law with minimum 50% Marks.

How to apply for above post:
Eligible candidates are required to apply only ‘online’ through the Corporation’s website. No other means /mode of application will be acceptable. Application should be filled in English only. However, option for use of Hindi will be available at the time of Written Test/ Interviews. Before registering their applications on the web site, candidates should possess the following:

(i) The candidate must possess a valid e-mail i.d. for filling the application. In case   the candidate does not have a valid e mail id he/she can create a new e-mail i.d. This e-mail i.d. should be valid for the duration of the recruitment.
(ii)  A recent passport size colour photograph for pasting on print out of the application. The candidate should retain same copy of the photo to be pasted on the call letter for Written Test/Group Discussion /Interview.
(iii)  Demand Draft/Pay Order of Rs. 300/- as non refundable application fee for General, Ex-Servicemen and OBC candidates. Demand Draft/Pay Order of Rs.50/- as non refundable postage charges for SC / ST / PWD candidates, No other financial instrument other than Demand Draft/Pay Order favouring “ECGC of India Ltd.” payable at Mumbai shall be accepted. Candidates must write his / her full name / post applied for / System generated Registration Number and address on the reverse of the Demand Draft/Pay Order. The Demand Draft/ Pay Order must be purchased on or after the date of Opening of the Online Registration Gateway i.e. on or after August 18, 2008 but before the close of business on September 5, 2008 i.e. Close of Online Registration Gateway. Even if the Corporation extends the last date of Registration due to technical reasons, the valid dates during which the DD/PO should be purchased should be within that period only.

The copies of certificates should be self-attested. The print out of the system generated application along with the documents mentioned above should be sent by ORIDINARY  POST ONLY in a closed envelope superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF PROBATIONARY OFFICER” at the following address :-

Fees:
The application fee should be paid by ‘Account Payee’ Demand Draft / Banker’s Pay Order drawn in favour of “ECGC of India Ltd.”, and payable at Mumbai.  No other financial instrument shall be accepted.  The application fee for General, OBC and Ex-Servicemen category candidates is Rs. 300/-(Rupees Three hundred only) and for SC, ST and PWD category candidates is Rs.  50/- (Rupees Fifty only) to meet postage expenses.

2. Closing of Online Registration Gateway: September 5, 2008
3. Last Date for receipt of System generated Application printout with DD and copies of certificates (to be sent by ordinary post): September 15, 2008
4. Last Date for receipt of System generated Application printout with DD and copies of certificates (to be sent by ordinary post) from far flung areas (as defined in Para 8 (xi) below): September 20, 2008
5. Date of Written Examination: November 2, 2008

Candidates may also download the call letters from the website from October 15, 2008 onwards by entering their registration number and password.
