State Bank of India, SBI, Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (POs) and Probationary Officers (Rural Business) [POs(RB)] in State Bank of India. Candidates selected are liable to be posted anywhere in India. In case of POs (RB) the selected officers will remain under Rural Business Group (RBG) for a minimum period of 10 years.
1. Probationary Officer (PO) :
No of Post : 2500 posts, (SC-345,ST-372, OBC-621,UR-1162, PH-136),
Age Limit : Between 21 to 30 years as on 28.02.2010. Relaxation as per rules.,
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10000 to 18240/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWD) aggregate marks in class XII or Diploma course after 10th standard AND 55% (50%) aggregate marks in Graduation irrespective of Pass Course or Honours Course,
2. Probationary Officer (Rural Business) :
No of Post : 2000 posts, (SC-300,ST-150, OBC-540,UR-1010, PH-60),
Age Limit : Between 21 to 30 years as on 28.02.2010. Relaxation as per rules.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10000 to 18240/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWD) aggregate marks in class XII or Diploma course after 10th standard AND 55% (50%) aggregate marks in Graduation irrespective of Pass Course or Honours Course,
