Building Materials & Technology Promotion Council, BMTPC, Invites applications from the Professionals to join project Apprisal & Monitoring Unit In the JNNURM project, BMTPC requires following professionals to be recruited on contractual basis :
 
i. Civil Engineer :
No of Post : 10 posts  (Gen -6, SC-1, OBC-2, Minority-1) ,
Scale of Pay : Grade pay Rs. 5400 to 6600 in the Pay Band Rs. 15600 to 39100/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Diploma in Civil Engineers with minimum 6 years experience in the field. OR (ii) B.E./B.Tech/AMIE (Civil) with minimum 2 years experience in the field. OR (iii M.Tech (Civil)
Desirable :
– Post Graduate Diploma in management.
– Experience in usage of computers.
– Ability to work in a team and train staff on the job.

ii. Information Technology Officer/ MIS Expert :
No of Post : 06 posts (Gen -3, OBC-2, ST-1),
Scale of Pay : Grade pay Rs. 5400 to 6600 in the Pay Band Rs. 15600 to 39100/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.E.(IT)/MCA/M.Sc (Computer Science/IT) (with minimum 60%)  having minimum 2 years experience in the field.
Desirable :
– Good Knowledge of software development & project management, database management, MIS etc.
– Ability to work in a team and train staff on the job to use the systems and assist in day to day issues related to IT.

iii. Economist :
No of Post : 02 posts (Gen -2),
Scale of Pay : Grade pay Rs. 5400 to 6600 in the Pay Band Rs. 15600 to 39100/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience :
(i) Post Graduate in Economics, however, Ph.D in Economics is preferred.
(ii) Should have 2 years experience in handling economic matters of Government Agency/ Development Authority/Public Sector/NGOs and should be conversant with accounting on an accrual basis.
Desirable :
– Experience in working of municipal environment would be an added advantage.
– Exposure to handling grant for project purposes is desirable
– Ability to work in a team and train staff on the job to use the systems and assist in addressing day to day issues.

iv. Social Development Specialist :
No of Post : 02 posts, (SC-1, OBC-1),
Scale of Pay : Grade pay Rs. 5400 to 6600 in the Pay Band Rs. 15600 to 39100/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience :
(i) Post Graduate in Sociology, however, Ph.D. in Social Science is preferred.
(ii) Should have 2 years experience in programme delivery in services, particularly to underserved sections of the society, preferably in urban areas, with adequate experience in social audit.
Desirable :
– Experience in dealing with Government Agencies and familiarity with government procedures of financing, implementation, etc.
– Ability to work in a team and train staff on the job to use the systems and assist in addressing day to day issues.
– Experience in usage of computers and internet will be preferred.

v. Architect/Planner :
No of Post : 02 posts (Gen-2),
Scale of Pay : Grade pay Rs. 5400 to 6600 in the Pay Band Rs. 15600 to 39100/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Arch/M.A (Urban Planning & Management) with minimum 2 years experience in the field.
Desirable : Experience in designing, working drawings, detailings, Site work (setting out), site supervision, costing & estimation, presentation drawings, model making perspective sketching and ACAD drawing. Ability to work in a team and train staff on the job to use the systems and assist in addressing day to day issues.

vi. Finance Officer :
No of Post : 01 post (Gen-1),
Scale of Pay : Grade pay Rs. 5400 to 6600 in the Pay Band Rs. 15600 to 39100/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Associate/Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Cost & Works Accountant of India or MBA (Finance)  (2 years full time course) or M.Com from recognized university/Institute with 2 years experience in the field.
Desirable : Exposure to construction / housing industry. Ability to work in a team and train staff on the job to use the systems and assist in addressing day to day issues.train staff on the job to use the systems and assist in addressing day to day issues.

vii. Administrative Officer :
No of Post : 01 post (OBC-1),
Scale of Pay : Grade pay Rs. 5400 to 6600 in the Pay Band Rs. 15600 to 39100/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : MA(Public Admn)/M.B.A.(HR&PM)  with 2 years experience in the field.
Desirable : Experience in administration and personnel matters in Govt./semi-govt./ corporate sector organisation. Exposure to government rules and staff matters. Ability to work in a team and train staff on the job to use the systems and assist in addressing day to day issues.

viii. Stenographer :
No of Post : 02 posts (Gen-1, Dis.Per.-1),
Scale of Pay : Grade pay Rs. 2400 in the Pay Band Rs. 5200 to 20200/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate from a recognized University / Diploma in Secretarial Practices. Having minimum speed of 80/40 w.p.m. in English shorthand / typing with minimum two years experience in handling Secretarial practices and routine correspondence. Sound ability to operate computers.

ix. Computer Operator :
No of Post : 04 posts (Gen-2, OBC-1, SC-1),
Scale of Pay : Grade pay Rs. 2400 in the Pay Band Rs. 5200 to 20200/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate from a recognized University with diploma in Computer Applications from reputed Institute. Punching speed of about 1200 impressions per hour with minimum two years experience in computer operations.
Age Limit : The candidates applying for the above posts must not be less than 25 years as on 01.04.2010.
