Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for appointment as Professors (9 numbers) and Associate Professors (13 numbers) in various disciplines listed below under the faculties of Agriculture/Agricultural Engineering of Kerala Agricultural University mainly in the College of Agriculture, Padannakkad. The candidates who are appointed in the above station as per this notification have to work there for a minimum period of 5 years.  The options under transfer norms will be considered only after completion of minimum 5 years of regular service excluding the period of leave taken for more than 3 months.

Scale of Pay: Rs.12000-18300
Qualification: Bachelors degree from the concerned Faculty recognised by the Kerala Agricultural University. Provided that this shall not be insisted in the case of teachers having the required period of experience in Teaching/Research/Extension in the concerned disciplines of the Faculty of Kerala Agricultural University. Provided also that this shall not be insisted for teaching post in Biotechnology

The duly filled up application in the format given below should be forwarded to the Registrar, Kerala Agricultural University, along with payment of Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two thousand only) (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates in Kerala) by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Comptroller, Kerala Agricultural University and payable at SBT, Vellanikkara. No other mode of payment will be accepted. The filled in application along with DD should reach the Registrar, Kerala Agricultural University, Kerala Agricultural University Post, Vellanikkara, Thrissur-680 656 on or before 4.00 p.m. on 30.08.2008. A self-addressed envelope of 23 x 10 cm size bearing postal stamp worth Rs. 10/- should also be enclosed. Further details will be available from the information Sheet.
