Department of AIDS Control National AIDS Control Organisation, Applications are invited for appointment of Programme Officer (Injecting Drug Use, IDU) on contractual basis forthe following post :
 
Programme Officer :
Responsibilities: Ensure provision and achievement of year-wise physical targets by IDU TIs/OST programme at the national level. Providing technical assistance to SACS on IDU/ OST programme specific areas including scale up plans, training, M&E. Support to SACS for implementation of TI programme. Supervise the work of Senior TO /TOs reporting in NACO. Any other work assigned by Senior Officers.

Essential Qualification & Experience : Post Graduate in Psychiatry/Social Sciences. Minimum 3 years of working with drug using population. Minimum 2 years of experience with OST (clinically and/or programmatically), Strong analytical skills, good writing and communication skills in English and Hindi. Working knowledge of computers including MS office package.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 51,750 to 75000/- per month (depending on experience).
