About Company :
The Institute of Microbial Technology, a constituent establishment of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India, wishes to recruit 10 (Ten) Project Assistants (Level-II) & 3 (Three) Project Assistants (Level-I) on purely temporary basis to work in different R&D Projects in various areas of the biological sciences, such as Protein Science & Engineering, Infectious Diseases & Immunity, Microbial Physiology & Genetics, Biotransformations & Microbiology and Fermentative Science & Process Development.

1. Project Assistants (Level-II) : 10 posts, Pay : Rs.8000/-, Qualification : Ist Class M.Sc. in any area of Modern Biology/ Life Sciences / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biochemistry/ Biophysics/Microbiology / Molecular Biology / Botany/ Zoology or Ist Class B.E/B.Tech. in Biochemical Engineering or Biotechnology (For Fermentative Science & Process Development only).

2. Project Assistants (Level-I) : 03 posts, Pay : Rs.7000/-, Qualification : Ist Class B.Sc. with specialization in any area of Modern Biology/ Life Sciences/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Biophysics/ Microbiology / Molecular Biology

Walk-In:
Such of the candidates who fulfills the eligibility conditions may please walk in for interview on _07.03.2008 (Thursday) at 09.30 A.M in the Seminar Hall of this Institute along with complete bio-data & original certificates together with latest passport size photograph and also enclosing photocopies of certificates/testimonials in support of date of birth, qualifications etc. No TA will be paid for attending the interview. Please note that candidates turn up after 11 AM on the date of interview will not be considered.
