National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, NIRD & PR, needs the services of suitable persons on contract for a period of Nov, 2014 to July 2015, to undertake research, field work, data inputting and analysis, mapping, documentation and demonstration / presentations, for the Project GIS based Watershed Monitoring: The Centre on Geo-informatics Application in Rural Development (CGARD), NIRD& PR, Hyderabad, proposes to conduct a ‘Walk-in-Interview’ on Nov 8, 2014 at CGARD, NIRD&PR, for the following Project Positions purely on Contract Basis.

1. Project Consultant :
No of post : 03 Posts
Age Limit : Not more than 40 years as on 08.11.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 50,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Minimum Postgraduate Degree in Geo Sciences. Computer / GIS Programming experience of more than 10 years.

2. Senior Project Scientist :
No of post : 05 Posts
Age Limit : Not more than 40 years as on 08.11.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 40,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Tech Degree in Geo-informatics with Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology. Minimum 05 years of experience in GIS Mapping, Image Interpretation & Modeling.

3. Project Scientist :
No of post : 05 Posts
Age Limit : Not more than 40 years as on 08.11.2014.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 25,000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Minimum Master Degree in Management with a B Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology. Minimum experience of 2 to 3 years in Field Surveys.
