Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, CMERI, Mechanical Engineering Research & Development Organisation, MERADO, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, CSIR, Established in 1965, is the extension centre of Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, A Walk-in-Interview will be conducted in the Conference Room of MERADO, Ludhiana. The Vacancy position may vary either way even across the disciplines and projects.
 
1. Research Associates (RA)/Senior Research Fellows (SRF):
No of Post: 07 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience: RA: 1st Class ME/MTech (Agril. Engg.) with specialization in Farm Machinery with 3 years experience. SRF: 1st Class BE/BTech (Agril. Engg.).
Pay Scale: RA – Rs.16000 + HRA; SRF – Rs.14000 + HRA (Consolidate),
Age Limit: RA- 32 years, SRF – 28 years,
Tenure: 3 Yrs only.

2. Project Assistants (PA) I:
No of Post: 02 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience: 1st Class Diploma in Mechanical Engg. / Manufacturing Engg./ Mechanical Design & Drafting / Metallurgical Engg. of 3 years fulltime duration or its equivalent.
Pay Scale: Rs.8000/- (consolidated),
Age Limit: 25 years
Tenure: 1.5 Yrs to 5 yrs only.
