National Institute of Health & Family Welfare, NIHFW, This autonomous Institute funded by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is an apex technical Institute for promoting Health and Family Welfare Programs in the country through Education and Training, Research and Evaluation, Consultancy, Advisory and specialized services. Faculty is covered under UGC guidelines as amended from time to time with the approval of Governing Body of the Institute. Applications are invited for the following posts:
 
1. Reader (Reproductive Bio-Medicine) :
No of Post : 01 post (UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Postgraduate degree in Surg. / Med. / Obst. & Gynae. / such as MD / MS or an equivalent degree of a recognized University / Institute. Five years experience as Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the subject concerned in a Medical College / Recognized Institution. Evidence of published work of high quality during last 5 years.
Desirable : One year administrative experience in a responsible position.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + AGP 8000 + NPA per month.
Age Limit : Age Upto 50 years (Relaxable upto 5 years for govt. servants and employees of autonomous Institutes under Govt.).

2. Reader (Medical Care & Hospital Administration) :
No of Post : 01 post (UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : Postgraduate degree in Medical Care and Hospital Admn. Like MHA of AIIMS, MD (CHA)/ MD (Community Medicine) or MD in Hospital Administration, or equivalent degree from a recognized University/ Institute. Five years experience as Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the subject concerned in a Medical College / Recognized Institution. Evidence of published work of high quality during last 5 years.
Desirable: One year administrative experience in a responsible position.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + AGP 8000 + NPA per month.
Age Limit : Age Upto 50 years (Relaxable upto 5 years for govt. servants and employees of autonomous Institutes under Govt.).
