Scale of Pay: Rs. 12,000-18,300/-
Qualification: (i) Good academic record with a doctoral degree or equivalent published work. Candidates who join from outside the University system, shall posses in addition to these at least 55% (50% in case of SC/ST) marks or an equivalent of B+ at the masters degree examination.

Scale of Pay: Rs.8,000-13,500/-
Qualification: (i) Good academic record with at least 55% (50% in case of SC/ST) marks in the subject or an equivalent grade of B+ at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University.

Prescribed Application Forms along with details regarding qualifications etc for the posts may be obtained from the office of Registrar on payment of Rs.100/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/BC) in cash at the University Cash Counter or by sending a self addressed envelope of 25 x 13 cms. affixed with stamp worth Rs.15/- accompanied by crossed Bank Draft of same cost in favour of “University of North Bengal” payable at SBI, N.B.U. Campus Branch. Application Form may also be downloaded from our website www.nbu.ac.in. The downloaded filled in application form should be accompanied by requisite fee (Through Bank Demand Draft payable at SBI, N.B.U. Campus Branch drawn in favour of “University of North Bengal”).

Filled in Application Form in 8 (eight) sets with attested copies of all necessary documents along with two self – addressed unstamped envelope of 25 x 13 cms. size must reach the Office of the Registrar, P.O. North Bengal University, Dist. Darjeeling , Pin-734013 on or before 30.09.2008.
