Aligarh Muslim University, AMU, Applications on the prescribed form are invited for the following posts in Aligarh Muslim University :
 
i. Director :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB : Rs. 37400 to 67000 AGP Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. First Class graduate and professionally qualified   Charted Accountant / Cost and works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body. 2. Ph.D. or fellow of IIM OR of an Institute recognized by AICTE. 3. (i) A minimum of 10 years’ experience of post graduate teaching / industry / research / professional out of which  3. years  must  be at the level of Reader/Associate Professor or equivalent.

ii. Professor :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB : Rs. 37400 to 67000 AGP Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality. A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in University/College.

iii. Associate Professor :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB : Rs. 37400 to 67000 AGP Rs. 9000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Good Academic Record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned / allied / relevant disciplines. Must have 55% of the marks, or equivalent grade  wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s degree level. A minimum of five years of experience of teaching or research in an academic/research position equivalent.

iv. Assistant Professor :
No of Post : 18 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB : Rs. 15600 to 39100 AGP   Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Holders of Ph.D. degree as on the date of Notification  of these Regulations, along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D. Degree through a Process of admission, registratioin, course work and external evaluation.
 
v. Assistant Registrar :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB : Rs. 15600 to 39100 AGP Rs. 5400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Holders of Ph.D. degree as on the date of Notification  of these Regulations, along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D. Degree through a Process of admission, registratioin, course work and external evaluation.
 
vi. Assistant Finance Officer :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB : Rs. 15600 to 39100  GP Rs. 5400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Holders of Ph.D. degree with finanace CA-ICWA-Finance as on the date of Notification  of these Regulations, along with those candidates who are awarded a Ph.D. Degree through a Process of admission, registratioin, course work and external evaluation.

vii. Section Officer :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB : Rs. 9300 to 34800 GP Rs. 4600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University  2. Five years experience of Office administration in the capacity of Assistant (Admin) or equivalent in a University/Academic Institution / Central Government / State Government  / Govt undertaking. 3. Knowledge of Computer Specially MS OFFICE.

viii. Semi Professional Assistant :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB : Rs. 5200 to 20200 GP Rs. 2800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.A./M.Sc/ M.Com. with B.Lib. Science OR  one year Diploma in Library Science.

ix. Assistant :
No of Post : 02 posts,
Scale of Pay : PB : Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 9300 to 34800 GP Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University.
2. Three years experience in the capacity of Upper Division Clerk or equivalent in a University/Academic Institution/Central Government/State Government/ Government undertaking.
3. Knowledge of Computer specially MS OFFICE, Excel Accounting packages.
