Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited, BVFCL, To The Personnel Officer, Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited Namrup, P.O, Parbatpur, Dist: Dibrugarh, Assam – 786623, Advt. No.HR/09/2010.

Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited, BVFCL, was emerged as a new Company in the year 2002, after demerger from Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Ltd. It is the first factory of its kind to use associated natural gas as basic raw material for producing nitrogenous fertilizer. The production Units of the Corporation situated at Namrup, Assam have been revamped and modernized recently. BVFCL have the two Ammonia and two Urea plants in operation with total production capacity of 5.55 lakhs MT of Urea per annum. The Company is looking for dynamic and result oriented Executives in the Senior Managerial Level for filling up of the posts mentioned below:
 
i. General Manager (HR) /  Deputy General Manager (HR) :
No of Post : 01 Post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : MBA with specialization in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations or Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in PIR/HRD/Labour & Social Welfare with at least 20 / 16
years Executive/Sr. Managerial experience in Personnel & Administration Department of a large and growing PSU/ Private sector organization.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 20500-500-26500/-/ Rs. 18500-450-23900/- Minimum gross emolument Rs. 55,288/- Rs. 49938/- (approx).
Age Limit : Not to exceed 55/53 years as on 01.07.2010.

ii. General Manager / Deputy General Manager (Finance) :
No of Post : 01 post,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate with C.A. or I.C.W.A. with 20/16 years post qualification Executive experience in a PSU/a large Private sector organization, out of
which 6/5 years should be in a Senior Managerial position (Experience in Chemical/Fertilizer Industry will be preferred).
Scale of Pay : Rs. 20500-500-26500/-/ Rs. 18500-450-23900/- Minimum gross emolument Rs. 55,288/- Rs. 49938/- (approx).
Age Limit : Not to exceed 55/53 years as on 01.07.2010.

iii. Additional Chief Engineer (Chemical) :
No of Post : 03 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Full time Graduate Degree in Chemical Engineering with 12 years post qualification executive experience in line in a PSU/a large Private sector Chemical Industry out of which at least 4 years should be at the senior management level with proven knowledge of modern technological developments in Chemical Industry.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16000-400-20800/- Minimum gross emolument Rs. 43250/- (approx).
Age Limit : Not to exceed 52 years as on 01.07.2010.

iv. Deputy Chief Engineer /Plant Manager/ Assistant Plant Manager (Chemical) :

Essential Qualification & Experience : Full time Graduate Degree in Chemical Engineering with 10/8/5years post qualification executive experience in line in a PSU/a large Private sector Chemical Industry. Preference will be given to candidates having in line experience in Fertilizer & Chemical Industries

v. Deputy chief Engineer /Plant Engineer/ Assistant Plant Engineer (Instrumentation) :

Essential Qualification & Experience : Full time Graduate Degree in Chemical Engineering with 10/8/5years post qualification executive experience in line in a PSU/a large Private sector Chemical Industry. Preference will be given to candidates having in line experience in Fertilizer & Chemical Industries

vi. Chief Chemist :

Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc (Chemistry) or equivalent full time post graduate degree with minimum 8 years post qualification Executive experience in Chemical Laboratory under a PSU/a large Private sector Chemical Industry. Preference will be given to candidates having in line experience in Fertilizer Industry’s Chemical Laboratory.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 13000-350-18250/Minimum gross emolument Rs. 35225/- (approx).
Age Limit : Not to exceed 48 years as on 01.07.2010.

vii.  Deputy Materials Manager/ Assistant Materials Manager :
No of Post : 03 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Full time Graduate Degree in Engineering in Chemical / Mechanical / Instrumentation discipline /MBA/ Two year full time P.G Diploma with specialization in Materials Management with 10/8 years post qualification Executive experience in line in a PSU/a large Private sector Organisation. (Experience in Fertilizer Industry will be preferred).
Scale of Pay : Rs. 14500-350-18700/-/13000-350-18250/Minimum gross emolument Rs. 39238/-Rs. 35225/- (approx).
Age Limit : Not to exceed 58/48 years as on 01.07.2010.

viii. Chief Administrative Officer/ Senior Administrative Officer/ Administrative Officer :

Essential Qualification & Experience : MBA / PG Degree in any discipline with 10/8/5 years post qualification Executive experience in the field of Administration, Estate & Land and Legal matters of Govt. Undertaking or large Private sector Organisation . Incumbent should have capacity of handling legal matter pertaining to court case/ labour legislation/ contract agreements, Land, Revenue, Administration and Estate matters. Preference will be given to candidates having MBA/Post Graduate Degree in Public Administration with degree in Law.

(Experience in Chemical / Fertilizer industry will be preferred).

xi. Accounts Officer Gr-II : No of Post :
02 Posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate with C.A/ I.C.W.A. ‘or’ B.Com / M.Com along with CA / ICWA (Inter) with minimum 3 years post qualification Executive experience in line in Finance& Accounts Department of large manufacturing Chemical industry.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 8600-250-14600/-Minimum gross emolument Rs. 23,455/-(approx).
Age Limit : Not to exceed 40 years as on 01.07.2010.

xii. Assistant Secretary : No of Post :
02 Posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate with Shorthand & Computer Knowledge with minimum 3 years post qualification experience in all type of Secretarial jobs in the top Managers Office of a large PSU/Private organization.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 6550-200-11350/-Minimum gross emolument Rs. 17,971/- (approx).
Age Limit : Not to exceed 35 years as on 01.07.2010.
