1. Director of Instruction :
No of Post : 01 post (1-UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences. (ii) Minimum 15 years experience of teaching/research/extension education in the concerned discipline in the rank of Assistant Professor or above, out of which at least 5 years experience as Professor/Principal.
Scale of Pay : RS. 37400 to 67000 with AGP of RS. 10000/- per month.

2. Registrar :
No of Post : 01 post (1-UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) A Post-graduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade and (ii) At least 15 years experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of RS. 7000/- and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of RS. 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration. Or Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education Or Fifteen years administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
Scale of Pay : RS. 37400 to 67000 with AGP of RS. 10000/- per month.

3. Deputy Registrar (Academic) :
No of Post : 01 post (1-UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) A Post-graduate degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade and (ii) At least 15 years experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of RS. 7000/- and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of RS. 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration. Or Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education Or Five years administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
Scale of Pay : RS. 15600 to 39100 with AGP of RS. 7600/- per month.

4. Sports Officer :
No of Post : 01 post (1-UR),
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) A master’s degree in physical education or master’s degree in sports science with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record. (ii) Record of having represented the university/college at the interuniversity/ inter-collegiate competitions or the State and/or national championships. (iii) Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
Scale of Pay : RS. 15600 to 39100 with AGP of RS. 5400/- per month.

5. Professor :
No of Post : 29 posts in various subjects,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Doctoral degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences. (ii) Ten years experience in research/teaching/extension education in the Agricultural University / National Research System provided 3 years experience is as Associate Professor/Senior Scientist RS. 12,000 – 18,300/- (pre-revised) or in an equivalent position. (iii) Evidence of contribution to research / teaching / extension education as supported by published work/innovations.
Desirable : Adequate experience of teaching and guiding PG students.
Scale of Pay : Professor shall be fixed at a stage not below RS. 40890/- per month.

6. Assistant Professor & Equivalent :
No of Post : 39 posts in various subjects.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Master’s degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the ICAR/ASRB/UGC/CSIR. For Electronics Engg. & Instrumentation and Computer Engineering NET qualification is exempted.
Desirable : Experience of teaching UG/PG students.
Scale of Pay : Assistant Professor shall be fixed at a stage not below RS. 40890/- per month.

7. Chairman of various Schools :
No of Post : 04 posts,
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Doctoral degree in the field of Soil Science & Agril. Chemistry or Agronomy or Soil Water Engineering. Or Doctoral degree in relevant basic science. (ii) Ten years experience in research / teaching / extension education in the Agricultural University.
Scale of Pay : RS. 37400 to 67000 with AGP of RS. 10000/- per month.
