East Coast Railway, ECR, Aplications are invited from Indian nationals for recruitment against two Cultural quota vacancies in East Coast Railway for the year 2014-15. Candidates fulfiling the folowing eligibilty conditons may apply:
Cultural Quota :
No of post : 02 Posts (Dramatist Actor-01, Clasical Dancer-01)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 Years.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-1, Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board. (50% marks in the agregate will be required for NTPC categories. 50% marks are not required for SC/ST candidates, and for candidates having higher qualification).
(i) Dramatist : Posesion of Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Drama from Government recognized instiute.
(ii) Clasical dancer : Posesion of Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Dance from Government recognized instiute.
Desirable : (i) Experience in the relevant field and performance given on AIR / Dordarshan etc. (ii) Prizes won at National level.

The examination fe is non-refundable. UR and OBC candidates should submit with the aplication a Crosed Indian Postal Order (isued after the date of this notification) for an amount of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of FA&CAO, East Coast Railway, payable at Bhubaneswar. SC/ST, ex-servicemen, physicaly chalenged, women, minority candidates (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Budhists & Zorastrians [Parsis]) and candidates belonging to economicaly backward clases (whose family income is les than Rs. 50,000/- per anum) need not pay this fee.
Last Date of Application Submission : On or before 10.11.2014.
