Defence Services Staff College, Wellington (Nilgiris) Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts:- Steno, Proof Reader-Printing Press, Photostat Operator, Lower Division Clerk, Civilian Motor Driver, Technical Attendant – Printing Machine Operator, Multi Tasking Staff

1. Steno Grade II :
No of post : 01 Post (OBC-1)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs 5200 to 20200/- per month + Rs. 2400 Grade Pay plus allowances.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (a) 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and (b) Skill Test: (i) Dictation: 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute. (ii) Transcription: 50 minutes (English) / 65 minutes (Hindi) on Computer.

2. Proof Reader-Printing Press :
No of post : 02 Posts (UR-2)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs 5200 to 20200/- per month + Rs. 2400 Grade Pay plus allowances.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (a) 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and (b) Two years experience from a recognized Organization or Undertaking in the trade.

3. Photostat Operator :
No of post : 01 Post (UR-1)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs 5200 to 20200/- per month + Rs. 2400 Grade Pay plus allowances.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (a) 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and (b) Two years experience from a recognized Organization or Undertaking in the trade.

4. Lower Division Clerk :
No of post : 02 Posts (UR-2)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs 5200 to 20200/- per month + Rs. 1900 Grade Pay plus allowances.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (a) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University; and (b) Skill Test: A typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer (Time allowed – 10 minutes)

5. Civilian Motor Driver :
No of post : 02 Posts (OBC-2)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs 5200 to 20200/- per month + Rs. 1900 Grade Pay plus allowances.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (a) 12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and (b) Must possess the civilian driving license for heavy vehicles with two years experience from a recognized Organization or Undertaking in driving heavy vehicles.

6. Technical Attendant – Printing Machine Operator :
No of post : 02 Posts – (UR-01, SC-01)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years (UR), 18 to 32 years (SC)
Scale of Pay : Rs 5200 to 20200/- per month + Rs. 1800 Grade Pay plus allowances.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Industrial Training Institute Pass Certificate in Printing Machine Operator from a recognized institute OR (a) Matriculation pass or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/Institute; and (b) Atleast one year experience of working as Printing Machine Operator from a recognized Organization.

7. Multi Tasking Staff :
No of post : 04 Posts – (UR-04)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years
Scale of Pay : Rs 5200 to 20200/- per month + Rs. 1800 Grade Pay plus allowances.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board / Institute.
