National Institute of Technology Nagaland, NIT, Applications are invited for the following faculty and other not faculty posts on regular and contract basis. post : Professor, Associate Professor, Registrar, Superintendent-Accountant, Stenographer, Junior Assistant, Nurse, Sports Officer, Executive Engineer, Multi Tasking Staff

1. Professor :
No of post : 03 Posts
Age Limit : Not Applicable.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus AGP Rs. 15000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D with 10 Years after Ph.D or 13 Years Experience.

2. Associate Professor :
No of post : 03 Posts
Age Limit : Not Applicable.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus AGP Rs. 9500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Ph.D with 10 Years after Ph.D or 06 Years Experience.

3. Registrar :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Preferably below 57 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus AGP Rs. 10000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Masters’ degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks from a recognized University / Institute.

4. Superintendent / Accountant :
No of post : 02 Posts (Superintendent-01, Accountant-01)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : First class (Hons.) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent grade from a recognized University or Institute in any discipline (In universities without a system of Honours degree, equivalent number of courses) OR Master’s Degree from a recognized University OR Institute with excellent academic record. Knowledge of Computer applications viz. Word processing, Spread Sheet.

5. Stenographer :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Below 27 years of age.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 12th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Minimum speed in short hand 80 w.p.m. in Stenography. Atleast one year experience in University /Institute of Technical Education.
Desirable Requirement : Proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet with advanced skills.

6. Junior Assistant :
No of post : 05 Posts
Age Limit : Below 27 years of age.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 10 + 2 in any discipline with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.
Desirable Requirement : Proficiency in other computer skills; stenography skills.

7. Nurse :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Diploma (Nursing with two year experience) from the recognized University or Institute (or) Equivalent with any State Nursing Council / Certificate with 3 years course from a recognized Institute approved by the Government.

8. Sports Officer :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience :  Matriculation or ITI or equivalent pass from a recognized Board or Institute. Atleast o1 year experience in University / Institute. Must have Sports Certificates. 

9. Executive Engineer :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i. First class degree or equivalent grade in Engineering (Electrical / Civil / Communication) from a recognized University / Institute. ii. 05 years’ experience in relevant field as Engineer / Asst. Engineer from CPWD / State PWD or similar organized services / semi-Govt. / PSU/ Statutory or Autonomous organization /Universities/ reputed Institute of organizations under Central/State Govt.
Desirable Requirements : i. Knowledge of Computer-aided Design (CAD) and latest Management Technology / other relevant software.

10. Multi Tasking Staff :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Between 18 to 27 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Matriculation or ITI or equivalent pass from a recognized Board or Institute. Atleast o1 year experience in University / Institute.

Fees/Application Fee:
The filled in application should be accompanied by the application fee of Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- in case of SC/ST candidates) in the form of Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Director, National Institute of Technology Nagaland” payable at the Chumukedima, Dimapur from any Nationalized Bank.
