Goa Shipyard Limited, GSL, A Public Sector Company under the Ministry of Defense, is presently engaged in the activities of designing and building special purpose modern sophisticated ships for the Navy ,Coast Guard, Commercial and Export segment. The Company is looking for the following personnel :
 
I. Assistant Public Relation Officer (Assistant Manager) :
No of Post : 01 post for UR
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16400 to 40500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate in any discipline with English as medium of Education. Experience 02 years full time Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Mass Communications / Journalism/ Public Relations / Event Management with 01 year post qualification experience in any industry / PR agency. Diploma in Computer Graphics preferably in Corel / Pagemaker in order along with experience in PR field in Goa is desirable. The job also calls for protocol functions and articulation skills in handling various situations and events.

II. Assistant Manager – Civil :
No of Post : 01 post for OBC on contract basis for 2 years,
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16400 to 40500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate in Civil Engineering (B.E. /B.Tech.) from a reputed and recognized university. Experience Candidate should have minimum 01 year of Post Qualification Experience as a project/site engineer in any reputed company involving estimation, tendering, supervision, building new projects, and maintenance work. Experience in Technical works, Contract Management, works execution, bills preparation and verification in PWD / CPWD / Public Sector will be given due preference. Computer Knowledge is preferable. The posts are purely on fixed term basis for a period of 02 years which may be extended further depending on work. During the period the incumbent will be entitled for pay and allowances as applicable to regular officers of the company.

III. Management Trainees :
No of Post : 10 posts (SC-02, ST-02, OBC-01, UR-05) (Mechanical Engg. – 04, Electrical Engg. – 02, Electronics Engg. – 02, Human Resource Management – 02 Nos),
Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16400 to 40500/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : First class in B.E./B.Tech / M.Tech / M.E. or equivalent Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics from a recognized University / Institute. For HRM – Two years full time MBA in Human Resource Management or Personnel Management & Industrial relations or Two years full time PG Diploma in Human Resource Management or Personnel Management and Industrial Relations or equivalent from a recognized and reputed university / institute with First class.
