Recruitment in General Services Organization, GSO, is one of the Constituent Units of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, situated 80 Kms. south of Chennai on the coast of Bay of Bengal off the East Coast Road. Applications are invited for the following posts : Scientific Officer-Medical, Technical Officer, Scientific Assistant

1. Scientific Officer-Medical :
No of post : 04 Posts
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 45 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidate should have passed MBBS + MD (General Medicine) MBBS + MD (Radiology) or MBBS + DMRD with 3 years experience.

2. Technical Officer :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 35 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidate should have passed B.E. / B.Tech. degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in structural analysis and design of high rise buildings for residential quarters, public buildings town planning etc. in a large township.

3. Scientific Assistant :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 30 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidate should have passed Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering 03 years after SSC with minimum 60% marks from a recognized Institution.
Desirable : Two years experience in O&M of Electrical Sub Stations including 11 KV / 433 Volts distribution transformers, VCBs, 11KV panel boards, LT motors upto 50HP rating, maintenance of electrical system in a large residential complex, pumping station, execution of electrical contracts and preparation of bills etc.
