Indian Council of Medical Research Department of Health Research, ICMR, Applications are invited up to 22nd August 2014. The following project posts are to be filled up on purely temporary and ad-hoc basis under various projects at National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research-National Cancer Registry Programme, Bangalore, post : Research Scientist Medical, Programmer,  Data Entry Operator, Assistant

1. Research Scientist-I (Medical) :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Not  Exceeding 35 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 60375/- per month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : MBBS Degree recognized by MCI from a recognized University.
Desirable : MD / MS Degree in Medicine / Surgery / P&SM, Pathology / Radiotherapy / Biochemistry / Pharmacology from a recognized University. Additional Post doctoral research / teaching experience in the relevant subjects in recognized institute(s). Knowledge of Computer Applications.

2. Programmer :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Not  Exceeding 35 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 28200/- per month Consolidated
Essential Qualification & Experience : Three Years Graduate Degree in Information Technology / Information Science / Computer Science / Electronics with Computer Applications as one of the major subjects or equivalent from the Recognized University with three years experience in Developing Software Applications programmes for data disease data capture, Analysis, Data Base Management, Data Mining, Standardizing of archival data etc.
Desirable : At least 3 years experience in programming in SQL Server, Java Script, XML, AJAX, ASP.NET, VB.NET with knowledge of Crystal Reports, developing programmes for data processing, compilation etc.

3. Data Entry Operator (Grade-B) :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Not  Exceeding 28 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 16000/- per month Consolidated
Essential Qualification & Experience : Three year graduate degree from a recognized university (with good command over spoken and written grammatical English) with knowledge of data entry work.
Desirable Qualifications : (i) Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour & at least 03 years experience in operation of PC. (ii) Knowledge of DTP packages and use of software programmes will be an added qualification. (iii) Qualification in Stenography / maintenance of accounts, cashbook ledgers will be a major advantage.

4. Assistant :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 35 Years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 27,800 /-Per Month Consolidated.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Three year graduate degree from a recognized university (with good command over spoken and written grammatical English) with knowledge of data entry work.
Desirable Qualifications : 1. Knowledge of Preparation of Budget, finalization of accounts, maintenance of cash book in double entry system, ledger etc. (2) Knowledge of Government rules governing Finance / Accounts and Establishment matters and principles of audit of accounts (3) Experience in managing office and personnel files (4) Proficiency in office automation.
