Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, IGKV, Applications in prescribed form are invited for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor-Scientist, Assistant Librarian and Technical Assistant.

1. Assistant Professor/Scientist (Pay Scale f 15,600-39,100+ AGP f 6,000/-)
No of post : 76 Posts (Agronomy-6, Genetics &Plant Breeding-14, Horticulture-18, Plant Pathology-6, Agriculture Economics-8, Agricultural Statistics-5, Agro meteorology-2, Plant Physiology-1, Livestock Production Management-7, Farm Machinery & Power-1, Soil & Water Engineering-2, Agricultural Processing & Food El}gineering-2, Physics-1, Mathematics-1, Instrumentation-1, Electrical Engineering-1, Mechanical Engineering-1, Civil Engineering-1)
Age Limit : The applicants age shall not be more than 35 years as on 01.07.2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600-39,100 + AGP Rs. 6,000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master Degree in relevant subject of Agriculture/Agricultural EngineeringNeterinary faculty with at least 55% marks or with good academic record. For the candidates having Master’s degree, NET (National Eligibility Test) shall remain compulsory alongwith one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi)

2. Assistant librarian (Pay Scale Rs. 15,600-39,100+ AGP Rs. 6,000/-)
No of post : 09 Posts (UR-4, SC-1, ST-3, OBC-1)
Age Limit : The applicants age shall not be more than 35 years as on 01.07.2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600-39,100 + AGP Rs. Rs.6,000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : A Master’s Degree in Library Sciencel information Sciencel Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.

3. Technical Assistant (Pay Scale Rs. 9,300 to 34,800 + GP Rs. 4,300/-)
No of post : 06 Posts (Agronomy-3, Genetics & Plant Breeding-2, Entomology-1)
Age Limit : The applicants age shall not be more than 35 years as on 01.07.2013.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 + AGP Rs. Rs. 4300/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Master’s degree in relevant subjects of Agriculture with at least 55% marks. OGPA from any recognized University.
