Indian Space Research Organisation, ISRO, is the lead centre of DOS / ISRO for the Satellite Technology in the Country and has grown into a premier centre for research and development with the primary responsibility for developing Satellite Technology and implementation of satellite Systems for various Scientific, Technological and Application missions. Applications are invited for the post: Technical Assistants, Nurses, Lab Technicians, Technicians, Draughtsman, Hindi Typist and Firemen.

1. Technical Assistant :
No of post : 06 posts in various disciplines.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years as on 26.09.2014 (40 years for SC/ST candidates & 38 years for OBC candidates). Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : First Class Diploma (minimum 3 years duration) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized State Board.

2. Nurse – B :
No of post : 02 posts
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years as on 26.09.2014 (40 years for SC/ST candidates & 38 years for OBC candidates). Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : SSLC + 3 year Diploma in Nursing from a recognized State Board.

3. Lab Technician – A :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years as on 26.09.2014 (40 years for SC/ST candidates & 38 years for OBC candidates). Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Lab Tech. from a recognized State Board.

4. Technician – B :
No of post : 65 Posts in various disciplines.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years as on 26.09.2014 (40 years for SC/ST candidates & 38 years for OBC candidates). Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : SSLC + 3 year Diploma in Nursing from a recognized State Board.

5. Draughtsman – B :
No of post : 10 Posts in various disciplines.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years as on 26.09.2014 (40 years for SC/ST candidates & 38 years for OBC candidates). Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : SSLC / SSC / Matriculation + ITI in Civil Trade from NCVT.

6. Hindi Typist :
No of post : 01 Post in various disciplines.
Age Limit : Between 18 to 26 years as on 26.09.2014 (40 years for SC/ST candidates & 38 years for OBC candidates). Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. Graduation in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Management/ Computer Applications with First Class as declared by the University AND 2. The candidate should have studied HINDI as one of the Subjects at Matriculation / Degree Level or pass or either of these examination in Hindi medium AND 3. Hindi typing speed @ 25 wpm on computer AND 4. Knowledge in the use of computers 5. Knowledge in English Typewriting (Desirable Qualification)

7. Fireman – A :
No of post : 06 Posts
Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years as on 26.09.2014 (40 years for SC/ST candidates & 38 years for OBC candidates). Ex-servicemen and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : SSLC Passed from a recognized School / College.

Selection Process :
The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates eligibleto be called for interview. There will be an initial screening based on the academic performance and other parameters given in the on-line applications and only those screened-in will be called for interview.

Candidates may visit our website at www.isro.gov.in to register their applications on-line up to 26.09.2014. Applications will be received on-line only. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID of the applicant will have to be given in the application compulsorily.

Fees/Application Fee:
There will be an Application Fee of RS. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) (non-refundable) for each application for male candidates belonging to UNRESERVED (UR) AND OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES (OBC). The candidate before filing his/her application has to take a DD for Rs.100/- from any of the Nationalized Bank in favour of the Accounts Officer, ISRO Satellite Centre, Bangalore, payable at Bangalore
