Recruitment in Jawaharlal Institute of Post graduate Medical Education and Research, JIPMER, Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the following categories of post : Public Health Nurse, Medical Social Worker, Junior Dietician, Pharmacological Analyst, Uro Technician, Anaesthesia Technician

1. Public Health Nurse :
No of post : 08 Posts (UR-04, OBC-03, SC-1)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years as on 20.01.2014.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Degree in Nursing or equivalent from a recognized University / Institution. ii) Registered as Nurse and Midwife under INC Act 1947. iii) Diploma in Public Health Nursing from a recognized Institute. iv) Three years’ experience as Staff Nurse in a recognized Hospital / Institution.

2. Medical Social Worker :
No of post : 09 posts (UR-04, OBC-03, SC-1, ST-1)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years as on 20.01.2014.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Master’s Degree in Social Work with specialization in Medical Social Work from a recognized Institution / University or equivalent. ii) Two years’ experience in Social work.

3. Pharmacological Analyst :
No of post : 01 (UR-01)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years as on 20.01.2014.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) B. Pharm from a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Should be registered as Pharmacist in the Pharmacy Council of India. iii) One year experience in testing of drugs in a recognized Institute / Hospital / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Unit.

4. Junior Dietician :
No of post : 06 posts (UR-04, OBC-01, SC-1)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years as on 20.01.2014.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Post Graduate in Food and Nutrition or Food Service Management and Dietetics from or Institutional Management and Dietetics from a recognized University or equivalent ii) One year experience as Dietician in a Hospital or Medical Institution.

5. Uro Technician :
No of post : 04 posts (UR-03, OBC-01)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years as on 20.01.2014.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Diploma in Radiography/Radiographic Science (2 Years course) from a recognized Institutaion / University or equivalent and ii) Two years’ experience in operating ultrasound and C-arm image intensifier machines in a Hospital.

6. Anaesthesia Technician :
No of post : 02 posts (UR-01, SC-1)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 30 years as on 20.01.2014.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree in Anesthesia Technology from a recognized Institution / Hospital OR i) Diploma in Anesthesia Technology (2 Years course) from a recognized Institution / Hospital. ii) One year experience in handling Anesthesia equipments

Fees/Application Fee:
The fee should be paid in the form of Demand Draft Rs. 300 to Rs. 500/- For General and OBC Category, Rs. 150 to 250/- For SC/ST Category in favour of „Accounts Officer, JIPMER, payable at Pondicherry (State Bank of India – JIPMER Branch).
