Kamdhenu University, KU, Gandhinagar has been newly established by the Government of Gujarat by Gujarat Act No. 9 of 2009 to established and incorporate a teaching and affiliating University for the development of Veterinary and Animal Sciences and for furthering the advancement of learning, conducting of research and dissemination of finding of research and other technical information in Veterinary and Animal Science including Dairy Science, Fisheries and allied sciences in State of Gujarat. The University invites applications in the prescribed form for the posts Account Officer, Director of Research & Dean, Associate Director, Principal, Associate Professor, Registrar, Planning Officer, Librarian, Comptroller, Executive Engineer, PA Steno in Gujarat.

1. Director of Research & Dean Post Graduate Studies :
No of post : 01 post
Age Limit : Below 50 years.
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus AGP Rs. 10000/- per month,
Essential Qualification & Experience : First Class Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary and allied sciences / Master’s Degree in Veterinary or Allied Sciences with at least 60% of marks or its equivalent / Ph. D in Veterinary or Allied Sciences or equivalent. At least 15 years’ experience in teaching and/or research.

2. Director of Extension Education :

Age Limit : Below 50 years.
Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 37400 to 67000/- Plus AGP Rs. 10000/- per month,
Essential Qualification & Experience : First Class Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary and allied sciences / Master’s Degree in Veterinary or Allied Sciences with at least 60% of marks or its equivalent / Ph. D in Veterinary or Allied Sciences or equivalent. At least 15 years’ experience in teaching and/or research.

3. Associate Director of Research :

4. Associate Director of Ext. Education :

10. Director of Student Welfare :

11. University Librarian :

Scale of Pay : PB Rs. 15600 to 39100/- Plus AGP Rs. 5400/- per month,
Essential Qualification & Experience : A second Class bachelor ’s Degree in any branch of learning following by a Master ’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent and consistently good academic record. A relaxation in percentage of marks at the master degree level shall be admissible to the SC / ST candidates as per orders issued by the State Government from time to time. Experience of atleast 13 years as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library.
Desirable : M.Phil / Ph.D. degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / archives and Manuscript-keeping.

12. Account Office-cum-Comptroller :

Essential Qualification & Experience : Master of Business Administration

13. Deputy Registrar :

19. P.A. (Steno Grade-1) – English :

Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidate must possess a B.A. / B.Com. / B.Sc. Degree from the recognised University. Should have the speed of not less than 120 words per minute in short hand and 40 words per minute in English typewriting. At least five year experience as Steno Grade 2 in a government / university / board / corporation.
