MACS – Agharkar Research Institute, Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for following posts : Senior Library & Information Assistant, Technical Assistant, Driver Ordinary Grade

1. Senior Library & Information Assistant :
No of post : 01 Post (UR-01)
Age Limit : Not more than 30 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- PM.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate Degree of a recognized University or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Diploma in Library Science of a recognized University / Institution, professional experience in a library with good standing or certificate in computer applications from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent.

2. Technical Assistant ‘A’ :
No of post : 02 Posts (UR-02)
Age Limit : Not more than 28 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- PM.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 1st class bachelor degree in any area of Life Sciences OR Physics and one year laboratory experience.
Desirable : Experience in Electron Microscopy or Confocal Microscopy.

3. Technician ‘A’ / Lab Asst. ‘A’ :
No of post : 03 Posts (UR-02, 01 is reserved for ST)
Age Limit : Not more than 25 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- PM.
Essential Qualification & Experience : a) SSC / 10th Standard with 50% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration or equivalent OR (b) SSC with 3 years experience OR (c) HSC with 02 years experience.
Desirable : Diploma in Electronics or job experience in maintenance and handling of sophisticated laboratory equipments.

4. Driver Ordinary Grade :
No of post : 01 Post (Reserved for OBC non-creamy-layer)
Age Limit : Not more than 25 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- PM.
Essential Qualification & Experience : 8th Standard passed with valid driving license (for both light and heavy vehicles) and 05 years experience in routine repairs and maintenance of vehicles.
