National School of Drama, NSD, A an autonomous institution fully financed by the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India invites applications for the following posts as an Stage Manager, Sitarist, Electrician, Tailor, Assistant Carpenter, Driver in Delhi.

1. Stage Manager :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not more than 35 Years.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Degree of NSD with 05 years experience of stage management,back stage work OR Diploma / Degree in dramatic with a practical exp. of 7 years in stage management / back stage. 05 years experience of organsing & presenting drama performances of theatre organisation.

2. Sitarist :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not more than 45 Years.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Fully proficient of playing. (ii) Instruments Experience of Playing for theatrical performance like dance-dramas, musicals, opera, song ensembles. (iii) Academic background will be preferred.

3. Electrician Grade-I :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Not more than 30 Years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (i) Matriculation (10t) class passed. (ii) Wireman certificate from competent authority (iii) 05 years Experience as a Electrician in a studio / theatre.

4. Tailor :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Between 18 to 28 Years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : (I) 8th passed. (II) Diploma in Tailoring from ITI, CTI with experience of cutting & stitching with 02 years experience of stitching theatre costumes OR Experience of cutting, tailoring & stitching of theatre costume designs for 05 years.

5. Assistant Carpenter :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Between 18 to 28 Years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma in wood craft/ carpentry from ITI OR 03 years working experience in theatre, as a carpenter.

6. Driver Grade-II :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Between 18 to 28 Years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i) 8th passed. ii) having driving license for motor cars. iii) knowledge of motor mechanism. iv) 05 years exp. of driving heavy vehicles.
Desirable : 03 years service as a Home guard / civil volunteer or Ex-serviceman.
