Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, NVS, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education & Literacy, Govt. of India, Recruitment for the Post of Catering Assistant and Staff Nurse for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in Bihar Region. applications invited from eligible persons for filling up the following posts.
 
1. Catering Assistant :
No of Post : 10 posts (UR-1, OBC-2, Sc-5,ST-01, PH-1)
Essential Qualification & Experience : Secondary School level and 3 years Diploma in Catering or Sr. Secondary (class-XII) from CBSE with Hotel Management and Catering as vocational subject and atleast one years experience in catering OR Trade proficiency Certificate in Catering with a minimum 10 years service in Defence Service of regular establishement for ex-serviceman only.
Scale of Pay : Rs.5200 to 20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
Age Limit : A Candidate should not exceed 35 years.

2. Female Staff Nurse :
No of Post : 05 posts
Essential Qualification & Experience : (a) Passed Sr. Secondary examinationor equivalent (b) Grade A 03 years Diploma / Certificate in Nursing from recognised Institution/B.Sc. Nursing from recognised University/Institute (c) Registration with Indian Staff Nursing Council. (d) Practical experience of 02 years in a hospital/clinic.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Age Limit : A Candidate should not exceed 35 years.
