Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, EPFO reserves absolute rights to vary upwards or downwards the vacancies including reserved vacancies as per further assessment of requirements. A candidate can choose any one examination centre of the region. He would be considered only for the vacancies within the region where he takes the examination. EPFO invites applications for the following posts:

A. Social Security Assistant: 2382 posts, Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400, Age Limit: Between 18 to 27 years as on 08.07.2009. Qualification & Experience:  (i). Posses a Degree of a recognised University or equivalent (ii) Speed of atleast 5000 key per hour for Data Entry Work, Desirable: Should possess a Computer Training Certificate from a recognised
SELECTION PROCEDURE: The Recruitment process will have two stages:
(i). Written examination (multiple choice objective type – English language, test of reasoning, numerical ability, office work aptitude).
(ii). Skill test to assess speed and accuracy for Data Entry Work. Minimum requirement is 5000 key depressions per hour.

B. Junior Engineer-Civil: 11 posts (GEN-08, SC-01, OBC-02, PH-01), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200, Age Limit: Between 18 to 27 years as on 08.07.2009. Qualification & Experience: Diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent, Desirable: Experience in Estimation, Drawing & Design will be preferred.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: The Recruitment process will have two stages:
(i). Written examination (multiple choice objective type – Professional Knowledge (Civil), Test of Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English language).
(ii). Personal Interview

Date of written examination: 06.09.2009 in 31 cities of India.
Last Date For Receipt of Applications: 08.07.2009 [15.07.2009 for far – flung areas.
