University of Agricultural Sciences, UAS, Applications are invited in the prescribed form for filling up the following posts of Officers (tenure basis), Teachers in the cadre of Assistant Professor, Technical Assistants under various KVKs & ICAR schemes and Service Personnel under backlog, from the candidates who are qualified as on the last date fixed for receipt of applications in the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad.
 
a. Director of Education : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.16400 to 22400/- (plus an allowance of Rs.300 p.m.)
b. Dean (Home Science) : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.16400 to 22400/-, (plus an allowance of Rs.300 p.m.)
c. Dean of Students Welfare : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.16400 to 22400/-, (plus an allowance of Rs.300 p.m.)
d. Registrar : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.16400 to 22400/-, (plus an allowance of Rs.300 p.m.)
e. University Librarian : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.16400 to 22400/-, (plus an allowance of Rs.300 p.m.)
f. Assistant Professor : No of Post : 13 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.8000-275-13500/-, (UGC/ICAR Pays cales)
g. Assistant Librarian : No of Post : 04 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.8000-275-13500/-(UGC/ICAR Pay scales)
h. Technical Assistant : No of Post : 24 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.5500 to 9000/-(UGC/ICAR Pays cales)
j. Service Personnel : No of Post : 25 posts (Assistant -2, Lab Assistant -2, Field Assistant -3, Driver -3, Watchman – 5, Messanger – 5, Farm Labour -5) (UGC/ICAR Pay scales)

How to apply for above post:
Fiiled in applications should be submitted in an envelope, superscribed on it “Application for the post of …………..” to The Registrar, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad – 580005 (Karnataka) on or before 25.09.2009.

Fees: 1. posts of Officers have to enclose the processing fee in the form of Indian Postal Order / Demand Draft / Bankers Cheque for Rs.500/– (in case of SC/ST Rs.200/- only) payable to Comptroller, UAS, Dharwad drawn within the period from 17.8.2009 to 25.9.2009 while submitting the filled in application proforma.
2. posts of Teachers, Techncial Assistants & Service Personnel have to enclose the processing fee in the form of Indian Postal Order / Demand Draft / Bankers Cheque for Rs.200/- (For SC/ST Rs.100/- only) payable to Comptroller, UAS, Dharwad drawn within the period from 17.8.2009 to 25.9.2009.
