Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, PGCIL, a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise, is one of the largest transmission utilities in the world.POWERGRID wheels about 45% of the total power generated in the country on its transmission network.POWERGRID has a pan India presence with  around 71,500 Circuit Kms of Transmission network and 120 nos. of EHVAC & HVDC sub-stations with a total transformation capacit. POWER GRID requires dynamic & talented professionals for its Northern Region Transmission System-II for following posts :
 
i. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) / E1 :
No of Post : 06 posts (UR-4, OBC-1, SC-1),
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 28 years.
Scale of Pay Stipend : Rs. 24500/- pm consolidated during first year, Essential Qualification & Experience : BE/ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engg.)/ AMIE in  Electrical with 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PH)

ii. Assistant Engineer (Civil) / E1 :
No of Post : 05 posts (UR-3, OBC-1, SC-1),
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 28 years.
Scale of Pay Stipend : Rs. 24500/- pm consolidated during first year, Essential Qualification & Experience : BE/ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engg.)/ AMIE in Civil with 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PH)

iii. Assistant Accounts Officer / E1 :
No of Post : 02 posts (UR-1, SC-1),
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 29 years.
Scale of Pay Stipend : Rs. 24500/- pm consolidated during first year, Essential Qualification & Experience : CA / ICWA Pass.

iv. Junior Engineer (Electrical) / S1 :
No of Post : 16 posts (UR-9, OBC-3, SC-3, PH-1),
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 27 years.
Scale of Pay Stipend : Rs. 16500/- pm consolidated during first year, Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PH),

v. Junior Engineer (Civil) / S1 :
No of Post : 05 posts (UR-4, OBC-1),
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 27 years.
Scale of Pay Stipend : Rs. 16500/-  pm consolidated during first year,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Diploma in Civil Engineering with 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PH),

vi. Junior Accountant / S1 :
No of Post : 02 posts (UR-2),
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 27 years.
Scale of Pay Stipend : Rs. 16500/- pm consolidated during first year,
Essential Qualification & Experience : Inter CA/ICWA.

vii. Assistant (Finance) / W4 :
No of Post : 02 posts (UR-2),
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 28 years.
Scale of Pay Stipend : Rs. 12200/- pm consolidated during first year,
Essential Qualification & Experience : B.Com, additional qualification of M.Com. is desirable.
