ONGC – Mumbai Sector invites applications (online) for recruitment of young and energetic men for the following posts:
 
1. Assistant Technician/ Production/ A-II Level : No of Post : 54 posts (GN-31, OBC-14, SC-5, ST-4), Essential Qualification : 3 years  Diploma in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Petroleum Engineering.
2. Assistant Technician/ Electrical/ A-II Level : No of Post : 18 posts (GN-12, OBC-4, SC-1, ST-1), Essential Qualification : 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Should have Certificate of Competency as Electrical Supervisor.
3. Assistant Technician/ Instrumentation/ A-II Level : No of Post : 29 posts (GN-18, OBC-7, SC-2, ST-2), Essential Qualification : 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.
4. Assistant Technician/ Mechanical/ A-II Level : No of Post : 31 posts (GN-18, OBC-8, SC-3, ST-2), Essential Qualification : 3 years  Diploma in Mechanical  Engineering.
5. Assistant Technician/ Electronics/ A-II Level : No of Post : 04 posts (GN-3, OBC-1), Essential Qualification : 3 years  Diploma in Electronics/ Telecom/ E&T Engineering.
Age Limit : 30 years for General candidates, 33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST candidates as on 31.12.2009.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5100/- open ended with applicable rate of increment per year (Pay scales are due for revision w.e.f. 01/01/2007), Dearness Allowance, HRA and other allowances as per rules of the Corporation. Other benefits LFA, Medical facility for self & dependents, Gratuity, Contributory Provident Fund, Self Contributory Post Retirement Benefit Scheme, Composite Social Security Scheme as per rules of the Corporation.

5. Tentative Date of written Test dated on 22/11/2009.

Fees: Application Fee  vide  Bank draft  of Rs. 200/-  valid for six months, issued  by any Nationalized or Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of “ONGC Ltd., Mumbai” payable at Mumbai. Candidate should write Name and Registration Slip number on the reverse of the Demand Draft. The SC/ST Candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
