Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission TNPSC, Aplications are invited only through online mode upto 12.1.2014 for admision to the Writen Examination for direct recruitment against the vacancies in the folowing posts included in Group-IV Services for the years 2013-14 and 2014-2015. post : Draftsman, Junior Asistant, Collector, Security, Typist, Field Surveyor

1. Junior Assistant (Non – Security)
No of post : 2071 + 62* Posts (including 4 Caried Forward vacancies)
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have pased S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibilty for admision to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to Colege Courses of studies.

2. Junior Assistant (Security) :
No of post : 39 Posts
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have pased S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibilty for admision to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to Colege Courses of studies.

3. Bill Collector, Grade-I :
No of post : 22 Posts
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have pased S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibilty for admision to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to Colege Courses of studies.

4. Typist :
No of post : 1683 Posts
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have pased the Government Technical Examination in Typewritng as an (i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English or (ii) by Higher /Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English or (iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower / Junior Grade in Tamil.

5. Steno-Typist, Grade – III :
No of post : 331 Posts
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have pased the Government Technical Examination in Typewritng as an (i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English or (ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower / Junior Grade in English or (iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower / Junior Grade in Tamil.

6. Field Surveyor :
No of post : 702 Posts
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have pased S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibilty for admision to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to Colege Courses of studies.

7. Draftsman :
No of post : 53 Posts
Age Limit : Between 18 to 35 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Must have pased S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibilty for admision to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to Colege Courses of studies.

PROCEDURE OF SELECTION : Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Writen Examination the list of candidates summoned for counseling wil be anounced in the Commision’s website. After verifcation of the original certifcates the candidates wil be selected for the unit / department based on the option exercised and on eligibilty at he time of counseling.

Fees/Application Fee:
Applicants should deposit the fee through the Online (Net banking, Debit / Credit card) / Offline (Post Office or Indian Bank), must deposit cost of application. Examination Fee Rs. 75/-, Cost of Application Rs. 50/- only. ST/SC Applicants who are exempted from examination fee.

Last Date of Application Submission : On or before 14.11.2014.
