National Geophysical Research Institute, NGRI, CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI), Hyderabad, is a premier R&D institute under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), involved in multidisciplinary R&D programmes of both basic and applied nature across scientific disciplines for economic, environmental and societal benefits for the people of India. The institute is a Centre of Excellence carrying out multidisciplinary Earth Science research programs viz., Hydrocarbon Exploration; Geochemistry and Geochronology; Mineral and Engineering Geophysics; Groundwater; Seismology; Geodynamics and Theoretical and Computational Geophysics etc. is a premier Research Institute under CSIR. Applications are invited for the following posts in NGRI : Technical Officer, Senior Technical Officer

1. Technical Officer (TO-1) :
No of post : 04 posts (UR-2, SC-1, ST-1)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-2 Rs. 9300 to 34800 with grade pay Rs. 4600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. (Geophysics) with 55% Marks. Knowledge in collection, Processing and interpretation of seismological data.

2. Senior Technical Officer (TO-2) :
No of post : 06 posts (UR-3, OBC-3),
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 with grade pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. (Geophysics) with 55% and two years research experience in seismic data processing.

3. Senior Technical Officer (TO-3) :
No of post : 01 post (UR)
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
Scale of Pay : PB-3 Rs. 15600 to 39100 with grade pay Rs. 5600/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : B. Tech. (Electronics and Communication Engineering) with 55% marks. Knowledge in installation, maintenance & data acquisition of GPS observatories and ionosphere using GPS studies.
