Regional Cancer Centre, Applications are Invited form Indian citizen and Eligible candidates for the following Posts: Dental Hygienist, Electrician, Library Assistant, Technical Assistant, Lab Technician, Plumber, Cytotechnologist

1. Dental Hygienist :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 01.01.2013.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : VHSE trained in Dental Technology and Diploma in Dental Hygienist approved by Govt. of Kerala OR Plus 2 or equivalent and Diploma.

2. Electrician :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 01.01.2013.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i. SSLC or equivalent ii. ITI Certificate in Electrician Trade iii. Two years post qualified experience in Electrical field preferably in major hospitals.

3. Library Assistant :
No of post : 02 Posts
Age Limit : Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 01.01.2013.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience: i. First Class Degree, preferably in Biological Science subjects. ii. First Class Bachelors Degree in Library & Information Science (BLISc.) or Second Class Masters Degree in Library & Information Science (MLISc.) iii. Practical knowledge in computer application
Desirable : Two years experience in a Library.

4. Technical Assistant :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 01.01.2013.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience: i. First Class three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent ii. Two years experience in the job in a Govt. or Quasi Govt. institution.
Desirable : Knowledge in Computer Operation.

5. Lab Technician :
No of post : 03 Posts
Age Limit : Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 01.01.2013.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i. B.Sc. with Chemistry, Zoology or Botany a main or subsidiary subject ii. A pass in Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology Course conducted by the DME, Kerala or its equivalent OR B.Sc. MLT from a recognized in stituation iii.One year experience in the specialty.
Desirable : Knowledge in Computer Operation.

6. Plumber :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 01.01.2013.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 5200 to 20200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i. SSLC ii. ITI Certificate in Plumbing (1 year course) iii. License in Plumbing iv. 5 years experience in plumbing.

7. Cytotechnologist :
No of post : 01 Post
Age Limit : Maximum age limit is 35 years as on 01.01.2013.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 9300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4800/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : i. B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology with experience in Cytology for one year. OR B.Sc. (Chemistry, Zoology or Botany as main or subsidiary subject) recognized by the Kerala University with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and experience in Cytology for one year. OR M.Sc. (Botany / Zoology) I or II Class with experience in Cytology for 6 months. ii. Pass in Cytotechnologist course from Regional Cancer Centre OR Indian Academy of Cytologists (IAC) recognized Cytotechnologists Course.
