1. Professor :
No of post : As per RGIPT Rules & Instructions.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 37400 to 67000/- per month Plus Grade Pay Rs. 10500/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : PhD degree (or Fellowship for MBA faculty) with first class (or 7 out of 10 GPA) at the preceding degree with consistently good academic record in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology/Applied Science/Management (or other relevant Management related disciplines) as the case may be, with a minimum of 10 years post-PhD experience in teaching / industry / research, out of which a minimum of 4 years must be at the level of Associate Professor and/or equivalent senior level position comparable to that of Associate Professor

2. Associate Professor :
No of post : As per RGIPT Rules & Instructions.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 37400 to 67000/- per month Plus Grade Pay Rs. 9500/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : PhD degree (or Fellowship for MBA faculty) with first class (or 7 out of 10 GPA) at the preceding degree with consistently good academic record in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology/Applied Science/Management (or other relevant Management related disciplines) as the case may be, with a minimum of 06 years post-PhD experience in teaching / industry / research, out of which a minimum of 4 years must be at the level of Associate Professor and/or equivalent senior level position comparable to that of Associate Professor

3. Assistant Professor :
No of post : As per RGIPT Rules & Instructions.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 15600 to 39100/- per month Plus Grade Pay Rs. 8000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : PhD degree (or Fellowship for MBA faculty) with first class (or 7 out of 10 GPA) at the preceding degree with consistently good academic record in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology/Applied Science/Management (or other relevant Management related disciplines) as the case may be, with a minimum of 03 years post-PhD experience in teaching / industry / research, out of which a minimum of 4 years must be at the level of Associate Professor and/or equivalent senior level position comparable to that of Associate Professor

4. Assistant Professor (On contract) :
No of post : As per RGIPT Rules & Instructions.
Scale of Pay : Pay Band Rs. 15600 to 39100/- per month Plus Grade Pay Rs. 6000/-,
Essential Qualification & Experience : PhD degree (or Fellowship for MBA faculty) with first class (or 7 out of 10 GPA) at the preceding degree with consistently good academic record in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology/Applied Science/Management (or other relevant Management related disciplines) as the case may be, with a minimum of 03 years post-PhD experience in teaching / industry / research, out of which a minimum of 4 years must be at the level of Associate Professor and/or equivalent senior level position comparable to that of Associate Professor
