South Central Railway, SCR, Applications are invited from eligible Male/Female candidates for filling up the posts of Constable:

Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 to 2000/- Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-,
Essential Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent from recognised board.

Height : UR/OBC: 165 cms, SC/ST : 160 cms, Grhwalis, Gorkhas, Kuamaonese, Dogras, Marathas, etc. : 163 cms.
Weight : UR/OBC: 50 kg. SC/ST : 48 kg cms, Grhwalis, Gorkhas, Kuamaonese, Dogras, Marathas, etc. : 49 kg.
Chest : UR/OBC: 80, SC/ST : 76.20, Grhwalis, Gorkhas, Kuamaonese, Dogras, Marathas, etc. : 80.00
Physical Measurements (Female):
Height : UR/OBC:157 cms, SC/ST : 152 cms, Grhwalis, Gorkhas, Kuamaonese, Dogras, Marathas, etc. : 155 cms
Weight : UR/OBC: 46 kg. SC/ST : 43 kg cms, Grhwalis, Gorkhas, Kuamaonese, Dogras, Marathas, etc. : 44 kg.
Age Limit : The candidates must not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on 01.01.2010. The Candidates must not be born before 01.01.1985 and must not be born after 01.01.1992.

The applications in the prescribed format should be sent to The CHIEF SECURITY COMMISSIONER/RPF SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWAY GROUND FLOOR, RAILNILAYAM, SECUNDERABAD – 500071, Andhra Pradesh, on or before 15.12.2009. Last date is 22.12.2009 for the candidates from far-flung areas.

Fees: Applications must be accompanied by Crossed Indian Postal Order of Rs.40/- or Bank Demand Draft of Rs.40/- as application fee non – refundable payable to “Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer / S.C.Railway / Secunderabad”. No fee shall be charged from the candidates belonging to SC/ST category and Exservicemen.

Last Date of Application Submission: 15.12.2009. Far-flung areas is 22.12.2009.
