The India Navy, IHQ MoD, Applications are invited from unmarried Male Candidates for Enrolment as Sailors for Sailor – Direct Entry Diploma Holders – 1/2010 Batch. Course Commencing 01 February 2010. Candidates who send more than one application for the same entry will be disqualified.

Navy Sailor Eligibility Conditions:
Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay 2000 + MSP Rs.2000 plus X group Pay @ Rs.1400/- plus allowances.
Medical Facilities.
Age Limit: Candidates to be born between 01 February 1988 and 31 July 1992; both dates inclusive)
Essential Qualification: Diploma with minimum 50% marks, 3 years Course in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunication/ Aeronautical/ Ship Building/ Instrumentation/ Metallurgical Engineering from a Govt. recognised ploytechnic/ institute.

2. Written Test performance
3. Physical Fitness Test
4. Medical Examinations Fitness Standards
5. Visual Standards
6. Final Enrolment Medical
