The Indian Navy, Applications are invited from unmarried Male Candidates for Enrolment as Sailors for MR (Musician) – 2/2011 Batch.

Sailors MR-Musician :
No of post : As per defence Ministry requirment and Government Rules.
Essential Qualification & Experience : Candidates should have passed the 10th standard.
Musical Ability : Should have proficiency in westorn national, aural aptitude, knowledge of theory of music and actual practical skill on any musical instrument.
Proficiency on Instruments : String, Key-board, Woodwind, Brass and Percussion Instruments both of Western and Indian Origin.
Selection Mode : Selection Criteria of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Musical Screening Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.
Scale of Pay : PB-1 Rs. 5200 to 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2000 + MSP Rs. 2000/- per month.
Age Limit : Candidates to be born between 01.10.1990 to 30.09.1994; both dates inclusive)
