Probationary Officer (PO) : 1000 posts (SC-150,ST-75,OBC-270,Gen.-505), Qualification : 60% marks in class XII and 55% marks in Graduation or Post – Graduation, SC/ST/PWD Candidates – 55% marks in class XII and 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation, Computer Literacy – Proficiency in computer (Certificate from a reputed Institute or having computer as a subject in class XII or Graduation), Age : 21-30 years as on 01/01/2008. Relaxation as per rules., Pay Scale : Rs.10,000-18240/-
Application Form : Candidates should obtain an application kit from identified branches of State Bank of India which will be sold from 08/01/2008 to 16/02/2008. Application Kits will be available at most of the branches of State Bank of India, especially semiurban and rural branches. Application by any other mode will not be accepted. Candidates can obtain the application kit by paying Rs. 250/- (for SC/ST/PWD Rs. 50/- covering postal charges etc.) at any of the designated branches.
How to Apply : Application must reach the designated address on or before 16/02/2008. Last date is 23/02/2008 for the candidates from far flung areas.

and plz cancel the first form -Registration number -23270 .(If it is applicable to the company norms.)

we students are little bit facing the difficulty in filling the form
1) Regarding the Post Graduation -Blank -i.e., regarding P.G pursuing students – how should we mention the details.
2) And second thing is if we have completed two degrees then what is the procedure to fill the Graduation blank.
Sir this is for ur information that i am facing guilty for filling the first form wihtout having the knowledge.I immediately applied another form. They have given another register number and Password. Is that cause any objection to follow for further procedure . And plz inform me that which registration number should i confirm or follow. (I thought there will be any warning/objection in between filling the form again but there is no such type and my second form was completed as usual). Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I have not recieved my roll no slip may be due to misunderstanding of address. I have already send letter at recruitment cell of sbi in chandigarh to get duplicate roll no recipt but I have recived not response as such.

i hav a query regarding the age limit of SBI PO EXAM…they require candidate of 21 years as on 1st jan 2008 but i will be of 21 years on this 1st of april…….will 3 months difference matter a lot….i m really interested for this..i dont want 2 miss this opportunity….what should i do?
