The Punjab Public Service Commission, PPSC, invites Online Application Forms from eligible Candidates for following Posts of Scientific Officers and Scientific Assistants in the Department of Home Affairs and Justice, Government of Punjab.

1. Scientific Officer : In the various Department
No of post : 05 Posts (Ballistics-1, Biology-1, Physics-1,Toxicology-1, Serology-1 )
Age Limit : Candidate should not be below 18 years and above 38 years of age on 01.01.2013. Upper age limit may be relaxed upto 42 years for Widows, Divorcees and certain other Categories of Women.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4400/- per month.
Essential Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science or its equivalent Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard. M.Sc. degree in Botany OR M.Sc. degree in Zoology OR M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from a recognized university or institution.

2. Scientific Assistant :
No of post : 10 Posts (Ballistics-1, Biology-1, Chemistry-1, Documents-1, Photography-1, Serology-1, Toxicology-1, Teaching-3)
Age Limit : Candidate should not be below 18 years and above 38 years of age on 01.01.2013. Upper age limit may be relaxed upto 42 years for Widows, Divorcees and certain other Categories of Women.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10300 to 34800/- Plus Grade Pay Rs. 4400/- per month.
