Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, TIFR, The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. TIFR, invited applications for the following posts tenable at Mumbai.
 
A. Scientific Officer (C) : 01 post, Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade pay Rs.5400, Maximum Age Limit : Age should not more than 33 years. Qualification & Experience : First class B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science or B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics/ lnstrumentation / Telecommunications / Electrical with formal diploma in Computer Science such as PG diploma of NCST. Persons should have good Experience foundations in Computer Science (Algorithms, Programming Languages, Compiler construction, Computer network security etc.)         
B. Scientific Assistant (B) : 05 Posts, Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200, Maximum Age Limit : Age should not more than 28 years. Qualification & Experience : SSC/HSC and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in refrigeration, cryogenics or air-conditioning (60% marks). Experience as Laboratory Assistant or Technician and familiarity with laboratory equipment, laboratory procedures and personal computers and their applications.
C. Project Assistant : 03 Posts, Pay Scale : Rs.16000-20000/- per month consolidated, Maximum Age Limit : Age should not more than 28 years. Qualification & Experience : B.Tech./MCA/M.Sc./BCA or equivalent. Candidates who have just appeared in their final year examination can also apply.
